Job Role
Inertia Consulting are seeking to expand our Operations Team by recruiting a Trainee Bridge Inspector/Technician operating out of our Regional office in Falkirk, Scotland to support ongoing growth.
The successful candidate will be part of an experienced team, supporting the delivery of inspection and NDT projects through both office-based and on-site responsibilities, assisting in project planning, execution, and documentation, working closely with senior bridge inspectors and project managers to ensure successful delivery, whilst documenting experiences and learning as part of the Bridge Inspectors Certification Scheme.
Full training will be provided to equip trainee inspectors/technicians with the skills necessary to carry out inspections, surveys, and investigations across a variety of structures.

Role Requirements
You will need to:
· Be able to work outdoors during normal daytime hours, unsociable night-time hours and occasional weekends
· Be comfortable with working at height and on or around water
· Be comfortable with travelling and staying away from home a moderate amount
· Be comfortable with long distance driving on occasion
· Be able to work on multiple projects that may involve differing operational requirements
· Have a reasonable standard of physical health and fitness
· Be comfortable with operating power tools such as percussion drills
· Have a basic knowledge of MS Office applications
· Possess A-Levels including Maths and English or other relevant qualifications such as a BTech in Civil Engineering
· Hold a full UK car driving licence.
· There will be a Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test required.

· 8 hour shift
· Day & Night shifts
· Flexitime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
