CNC Turner Programmer
We are recruiting for a prismatic machining & mechanical assembly business for the Civil & Military Aerospace Industry. They specialise in high speed 5‑axis soft & hard metal plus composite machining up to 3 metres in length. We are looking for a full time permanent CNC Turner.
Key skills required
* Min 3 years hands‑on experience as a CNC Turner.
* Ability to set and operate machines minimum of 3 years.
* Ability to understand the code of the programs in case you need to go in and when loading new tools.
* Ability to program from technical drawings – a major benefit.
* Experience with Mazatrol or Fanuc required.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Background in Aerospace would be a distinct advantage.
* Ensure machines are set in a timely fashion and that dimensions and surface finishes meet requirements.
* Ability to check own work in conjunction with inspection department.
* Maintain safe operations by adhering to H&S regulations and procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and colleagues.
* Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and highlighting any issues found.

Working hours
7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday – 4 day working week.
