Position Overview
We are recruiting for a Team Leader‑Maternity Theatres who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Registered ODP / Registered Nurse is a vital and valued role to support in providing high‑quality, compassionate care to patient/clients and their families/carers within the clinical / peri‑operative environment. Based within the theatre team they work closely with the multi‑disciplinary team in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development.
Role: Scrub Theatre Team Leader
This post requires candidates to have an all‑round knowledge of elective (Vascular, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynae, Plastics, Robotics, ENT and General Surgery) and emergency procedures to join our Scrub Team within theatres.

Key Responsibilities
* Continuously maintain health, safety and control of infection in clinical work areas.
* Assist in the care for patients undergoing Elective & Emergency Caesarean Sections.
* Receive, transfer and position patients for clinical procedures.
* Ensure equipment, supplies and waste is kept to a minimum.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and comfort of women.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the multidisciplinary team, women and relatives.
* Plan, implement and evaluate the peri‑operative care of the women as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
