Anaplan is looking for a UX Designer to join our growing global User Experience team.
You’ll be based in our York office, contributing as a key member of our product organization. With offices in San Francisco, London, and across the globe, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation.
Now is an exciting time to join our 25+ person UX team of designers and researchers focused on delivering powerful, data-rich, and intuitive interfaces that help our customers make confident decisions. Our work spans core modeling capabilities, applications, and user-facing planning workflows, all underpinned by a world-class design system.
In this role, you’ll own feature-level UX design work across the Anaplan platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to solve complex design problems that impact thousands of enterprise users globally. You’ll help shape enterprise experiences that are scalable, accessible, and user-centered from concept through delivery.
Your Impact
1. Design and deliver user-centered solutions for a defined product area, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
2. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fellow designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
3. Participate in discovery activities including workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing.
4. Produce flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
5. Work with the Anaplan Design System to ensure consistency and contribute improvements.
6. Use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and iterate on experiences.
7. Help simplify complexity for builders, admins, and business users alike by designing elegant interactions.
Your Qualifications
8. 2–4 years of professional experience in UX or product design.
9. A strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methods.
10. Experience designing for data-rich, workflow-heavy interfaces.
11. Proficiency with Figma and working within design systems.
12. Strong communication and collaboration skills; you can confidently present ideas and rationale.
13. A systems-thinking mindset and a drive to improve design quality through iteration and feedback.
Preferred Skills
14. Experience designing for admin, builder, or data modeling tools.
15. Understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions impact implementation.
16. Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
17. Exposure to enterprise SaaS, financial systems, or planning software.
18. Experience working with Agile teams.
