About the School Our school caters to 205 incredible young people, from Reception to Year 11 (ages 4-19), all with special educational needs. We support children with: Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Physical and Mobility Difficulties Every day here is about unlocking potential, celebrating achievements, and building confidence! What You’ll Be Doing Supporting pupils with complex needs to access learning and life skills Assisting with mobility and personal care where needed Helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Collaborating closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support Being ready to jump into the driver’s seat when it comes to transporting pupils or resources across the site What We’re Looking For A valid driving license is an absolute must (we need someone who can get around with ease!) Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly desirable An Enhanced DBS on the update service is highly preferable given the urgency of this role Patience, empathy, and a fantastic sense of humor — because every day is an adventure here!
