Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Gloucester

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Gloucester for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is available on a full or part time basis with full time offering a 4 day week. This is a sole charge position offering a mixture of surgeries and consultations.

The role
12. The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and surgeries
13. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties to ensure a good work-life balance
14. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
15. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

About you
26. They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience both in medicine and surgery
27. You will have excellent communications skills and client facing skills
28. The Vet will be comfortable with sole charge.
29. You will have a positive attitude and show empathy to both clients and team members
30. You will encourage ongoing development of the team
31. You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner
Package
32. Salary: Up to £65, pro rata, commensurate to experience
33. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave pro rata and birthday off
34. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 5 days to attend
