About Us:
At Steris AST, we are trusted experts in neutral sterilization, offering radiation and gas technologies.
We provide electron beam, gamma, X-ray, ethylene oxide, and vaporized hydrogen peroxide technologies for sterilization purposes. Whether the product is a single-use medical instrument, a hospital environment, cosmetics and toiletries, or food products, we ensure safety for end users.
Work Schedule:
* Week 1: 06:00-14:00
* Week 2: 10:00-18:00
* On-call night cover every 5 weeks
What is Involved
Quality
* Adhere to quarantine procedures as per defined SOPs.
* Label customer products and place dosimetry according to SOPs.
* Complete all forms to required standards.
* Report process or job discrepancies to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
* Follow procedures to ensure product segregation standards are met.
* Maintain strict adherence to GMP Quality Standards.
* Assist in non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis.
* Record and report any damage using site procedures.
* Read dosimetry readings accurately.
Cost
* Complete run sheets accurately.
* Initiate contact with support services (Maintenance, IT, QA, Management) when plant issues occur.
* Follow processing schedules and paperwork requirements.
Delivery
* Load and unload customer products using a forklift.
* Handle totes (Auto Plant).
* Update SQDC boards and attend daily PIT meetings.
* Identify, verify, and label customer products with correct dosimeters/BIs as per SOPs.
* Process products according to parameters and instructions.
* Assist in handovers, ensuring records and standards are maintained.
* Contribute to ongoing 5S standards and audits.
* Complete daily, weekly, and monthly standard work.
* Ensure end-of-shift cleaning and complete cleaning registers.
* Manage consumable stock levels and notify management when reordering is needed.
Safety
* Share responsibility for premises and goods security.
* Report safety concerns and escalate appropriately.
* Wear PPE at all times.
* Report COSHH product issues according to site regulations.
* Conduct safety checks and report incidents.
* Assist with site security, including visitor management and alarm activation/deactivation.
People
* Work towards deputizing for the Team Leader when needed.
* Perform tasks safely, maintaining equipment and PPE use.
* Undertake necessary training.
Required Experience
* At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
* FLT license.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency with PC.
