Who we are…

Compass Group Plc is a £20 billion turnover, global organisation and the world’s leading provider of food and support services. Operating across seven key business areas—Foodservice; Support Services; Business & Industry; Healthcare & Seniors; Education; Sports & Leisure; and Defence, Offshore & Remote—we serve millions of people every day. From classrooms to stadiums, hospitals to offshore platforms, our teams deliver outstanding experiences across the UK & Ireland and around the world.

Compass Group UK&I is, first and foremost, a people business. We have made significant investments in industry-leading talent acquisition and workforce management technology, enabling us to attract exceptional talent and support the continued growth of our organisation. Our talent strategies span the UK & Ireland and incorporate a wide range of specialist and diversity job boards, social and digital channels, and innovative employer brand activity. Our resourcing capability is a critical pillar in delivering the wider UK&I business strategy.

What the role is about…

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business secures the right people at the right time to deliver on its goals. You will be a trusted advisor to our operational teams, while also acting as a champion for employer brand, candidate experience, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

You will proactively source, attract, and engage talent across a range of business areas, using market intelligence and a suite of leading resourcing tools. You will also support hiring managers in developing best-practice recruitment capability, enabling them to successfully self-serve where appropriate.

This is a highly collaborative role that will place you at the heart of our people and operations network—representing Compass externally as an employer of choice, and ensuring internal teams understand and uphold our recruitment principles and processes.

Your work will help us evolve, refine, and optimise our resourcing strategy as we continue to grow in a fast-paced and dynamic business landscape.

Some key areas of focus:

* Analyse daily attraction data to identify underperforming roles and use market insight tools to understand the root causes.
* Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner and Hiring Managers to address challenges and implement targeted attraction campaigns.
* Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements, expectations, and team needs.
* Utilise a variety of sourcing methods—job boards, search tools, social media, talent pools, and referrals—to identify and attract quality candidates.
* Screen and assess candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
* Conduct phone, video, or face-to-face interviews and provide structured feedback to hiring managers.
* Coordinate and guide the hiring process, including offers, reference checks, and onboarding-related activities.
* Monitor frontline recruitment activity and flag trends or concerns, working with operational managers to identify solutions.
* Develop and maintain active talent pipelines to support future workforce planning.
* Deliver an engaging, inclusive, and professional candidate experience from application to offer.
* Track and report recruitment performance, insights, and trends.

This list is not exhaustive.
