Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Drivingियत Consultant to join our successful and growing team in our Edinburgh office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated recruitment professional with a passion for the driving sector to take the next step in their career.
Location: Edinburgh – Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm – Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) + excellent bonus and benefits
The Role
As гав a Senior Driving Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and managing your own desk, specialising in the recruitment of HGV drivers across a range of clients. You will be responsible for delivering a first-class recruitment service while building long‑term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Building, developing and managing a profitable driving recruitment desk
Recruiting, onboarding and managing HGV drivers
Proactively winning new business and maintaining existing client relationships
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle – from advertising and interviewing to placement and aftercare
Ensuring compliance with driving regulations and recruitment standards
Providing an exceptional service to both clients and candidates
About You
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within driving, logistics or industrial sectors
Strong knowledge of HGV driver recruitment and compliance
A confident communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills
Target‑driven, organised and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Passionate about delivering high‑quality service and results
