This exciting Finance Manager job will give you the opportunity to work alongside a talented FD but also to get close to the business through contact with operational senior management. You'll be working for a business that develops its staff and places a heavy emphasis on providing opportunities to progress your career within the Group.
Responsibilities
* As Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the production of the monthly management accounts for this group of SME construction companies.
* You will lead a small team to help them produce the balance sheet and P&L on a timely basis.
* Using your analytical skills you will work with the operational teams to investigate variances and to help them understand financial performance as a finance business partner.
* You'll support commercial tenders with the production of financial models and analysis.
* You will lead on budget setting and forecasting across several group companies.
What you\'ll need to succeed
* We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience of management accounting and of leading a team.
* You should be keen to progress your career in a fast moving and fast growing company that is undergoing signficant change.
* You will want to stamp your mark on the business and contribute to the success of this change by supporting on projects outside of the day to day role.
