* Knowledge of education regulations, standards, and inspection frameworks
* Understanding of safeguarding and statutory responsibilities
* Experience with financial systems, budgeting, and operational processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* HR and recruitment expertise with the ability to build positive relationships
* Confident leadership and team-management skills
* Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset
* Previous School Business Manager experience (preferred)
* Enthusiasm for being involved in all aspects of school life
