Actual Annual Salary: £9,905 - £10,797 Based on term time only weeks + Inset days

Full Time Equivalent Salary: Grade B - £25,941 - £28,275 Based on all year round hours

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours: Part Time, 16.5hours per week, Term time only plus inset days

Provisional Start Date:As soon as possible

We are seeking a motivated and practical individual to take on the role of Art Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest in the arts and a hands-on approach to work. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the art space, helping to maintain equipment, prepare materials, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment. If you're organized, adaptable, and enjoy working in a creative setting, we’d love to hear from you.

About You:

* Practical experience of understanding and following processes and procedures.
* Experience of using, cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring the safety of specialist equipment.
* Experience of instructing others to use specific equipment.
* Ability to work with equipment and systems needed to undertake the role to a high standard.
* Confident use of IT systems relevant to the post.
* Good standard of written and verbal communication skills.
* Good problem-solving skills.

The successful applicant will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive pre-employment checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK and a child disqualification check. The checks will also include an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list.
