Job Description
Field Support responsibilities include attending service reviews to ensure our Care Professionals practice the current standards of Home Instead care delivery, as well as maintaining the high standards required for our CQC rating. Ensuring the happiness of both clients and staff, our values are: fairness, reliability, honesty, support, and happiness.
Field Support Care Professionals will embody these values, bringing natural compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others. Your role includes enjoying a minimum 1-hour visit, primarily assisting clients with dignity, companionship, stimulation of daily activities, safety, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. You will also have your own clients to follow, which includes but is not limited to:
* Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting as needed.
* Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.
* Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
* Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
* Transportation: Providing transportation for appointments, errands, and social outings, giving clients the freedom to choose.
Building trusting relationships by getting to know your clients' hobbies and interests, supporting them to stay at home in familiar environments, and respecting their wishes are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
Experience in care is preferred, ideally with NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care. If not, but you have substantial experience, we welcome discussions about the role. You must be a driver with your own vehicle.
