We are a leading and growing charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and adults with autism and other learning complexities with our head office based in Christchurch.
What a day looks like
 * Playing a key role in creating a positive and supportive working environment across the organisation
 * Advising and guiding managers on a wide range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues, performance concerns in particular within adult services
 * Helping workplace culture that empowers our dedicated staff to provide outstanding care and support to the people who need us most
 * Leading investigations and supporting hearings as needed
 * Analysing trends and support initiatives to improve staff wellbeing and retention
 * Contributing to policy reviews and continuous HR improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
You should have experience supporting managers with sensitive or complex HR matters, hold (or be working towards) CIPD Level 5, be proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems, and have solid experience in employee relations or an HR advisory role with strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice. Compassionate, professional and confident communication skills are essential.
