You will work as a rotational pharmacist, providing a clinical pharmacy service across various specialties. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting safe prescribing and medicines optimisation
2. Enhancing medicines safety and quality improvement
3. Offering medicines-related advice to colleagues and patients
4. Supporting the safe and timely discharge of patients
5. Participating in clinical screening and accuracy checking within the dispensary
The rotations will cover clinical services (acute medicine, general medicine, general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, women and children), cancer services (aseptic services, oncology/haematology ward), medicines information, medicines management, parenteral nutrition, and clinical trials.
We seek motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists eager to learn and work effectively within our clinical teams. This role offers valuable experience in diverse clinical areas, within a friendly, collaborative department that supports professional development through in-house training, credentialing, portfolio support, and clinical diploma completion. Support will be provided by our Education and Development Pharmacist and experienced Lead Pharmacists.
