We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant at Edenbridge Manor Care Home in Kent.
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
* Assist residents in all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection and expedite any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About You
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
* Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
* Live the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.
* Experience is not required – we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence within your role.
