Riverside Health Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated medicines management coordinator to work with our excellent team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and medicine coordinators as we expand the team.
The medicines management coordinator will provide support to both the clinical team and patients registered with Riverside Health Centre to ensure smooth, efficient and compassionate delivery of care.
Although the post holder will take responsibility for their own work, they will work as part of the medicines management team.
Main duties of the job
* Monitoring and issuing prescriptions using the correct clinical guidelines, anticipating demand and reacting accordingly.
* Identification and prioritising of patients needs.
* Communicate effectively and timely with patients regarding prescriptions.
* Communicate effectively with all parties internally and externally
* Respond timely and professionally to all tasks
* Prioritise and plan work effectively with attention to detail
* Process accurate and timely prescription requests with accurate reporting on system one
* Liaise with external organisations (pharmacies)
* Liaising and working alongside clinical teams in delivering an efficient prescription service

Person Specification
Experience
* We are ideally looking for someone who has a background of working in general practice, who has excellent communication skills and can prioritise work load effectively with attention to detail.
