Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Beckfoot Upper Heaton
Contract: Full-time & Part-time opportunities available
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join Beckfoot Upper Heaton. Beckfoot Upper Heaton is a vibrant and inclusive school committed to creating an environment where every student can thrive.
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning. A key part of being a Behaviour Support Worker is helping students overcome barriers, develop social and emotional skills, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs
* Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to create tailored support plans
* Monitor and record progress, ensuring interventions are effective and timely
* Act as a positive role model, building strong relationships with students and families
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
