Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to oversee and deliver major advanced construction projects across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of high-value, fast-track projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in MEP and complex construction delivery, and proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
* Manage programmes, budgets, and risk to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
* Drive performance and accountability across project teams to achieve key milestones.
* Provide clear project reporting and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
* Support value engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience in project management within construction/engineering.
* Proven track record delivering major advanced construction or mission-critical projects.
* Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, fit-out, and large-scale builds.
* Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contracts.
* Flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
* Freelance/contract availability with immediate or short-term start.
