Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) driver for ongoing, long-term supply work with a well-established client based in Darlington. This role involves 2-man deliveries, early morning starts, and heavy lifting, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy physical, hands-on work and being part of a team.
Youll be working alongside a drivers mate, completing multi-drop deliveries to customer premises, so a strong work ethic and professional attitude are essential.
The Role:
* Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
* Working as part of a 2-man delivery team
* Early morning starts
* Multi-drop delivery work
* Heavy manual handling as part of the delivery process
* Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
* Providing a friendly, professional service to customers
What Were Looking For:
1. Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
2. Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
3. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
4. Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
5. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
