Our Cities & Places team in UK is currently seeking an experienced Inclusive Design professional to join us in delivering a range of projects, in the UK and around the world. As successful candidate you will have a strong technical background and evidence of going beyond the minimum, pushing boundaries and challenging the accepted

At Jacobs, the Inclusive Design team follow a technical, engineering and social understanding to create welcoming spaces that promote participation and work seamlessly for everyone.

As an Inclusive Design specialist at Jacobs you will:
* Drive innovation and change, and push boundaries within the inclusive design landscape.
* Go beyond access for disabled people to successfully meet the requirements of diverse, global populations.
* Informed by research, data and evidence, deliver future-proofed solutions that serve end-user requirements relating to age, gender, gender identity, disability, faith and cultural background. * NRAC consultant accreditation and proven experience of working in the field of inclusive design. Excellent technical communication and good written communication skills
* Additional technical accreditation in a relevant field such as architecture, human factors, building surveying, transport planning, etc.
* Evidence of advising on inclusive design across all stages of a project lifecycle
* Excellent understanding of national and/or international legislation, guidance and standards.

Going beyond experience
* Driving innovation and change, and pushing boundaries in terms of the inclusive design landscape.
* Evidence of leading a team and coordination with other disciplines.
* In-depth awareness of end-user requirements, wider industry trends, legislation and guidance.

We'll need you to be an excellent communicator with well-rounded people skills as you will manage diverse teams with different and often competing goals, enabling them to work together to produce coordinated and high-quality designs.

You'll also have excellent client management skills with the ability to present your ideas clearly and effectively, evaluate the ideas of others, and communicate progress, potential issues, and proposed mitigation
