POSITION OBJECTIVE Overall scope and purpose of job:
To ensure the efficiently, courteous service of all food and beverages in the restaurant, working with the Management Team to consistently uphold company standards. To act as an ambassador for Julies Restaurant ensuring that a positive brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 6 months experience as Waiter in a similar fast paced, quality environment
Demonstrable knowledgeable and passionate about great food and wine
Confident, individual who is committed to providing excellent service to all customers
Good communicator
Able to work under pressure and multi task particularly during peak hours and extended periods of increased business,
Availability to work late nights and weekends

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times, to both Customers and colleagues.
Assumes responsibility for the safety of self, colleagues and customers, in line with current H&S legislation.
To ensure correct Mise en Place is completed prior to service, and that only clean, polished cutlery and glasses are used.
To ensure correct orders for Food and drink is taken, first time, every time.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To consistently work efficiently to deliver all customer orders in a timely
Active knowledge of all menus -Food, wine and cocktails - and ensure always aware of any seasonal changes or updates.
Aware of any dishes containing potential allergens, and able to communicate the information clearly to customers.
Awareness of special facilities for children and disabled customers.
Ensure any restaurant equipment is in working condition, and in accordance to health and safety regulations, and if not reported to the senior manager on duty
Always observes correct cash handling procedures
To ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out to company standards
To report any complaints and incidents to a senior manager, and implement compliant handling procedure.
Consistently arrives in a timely manner for the start of each shift.
Consistently adheres to uniform requirements, and ensures uniform is cleaned and well maintained, in line with company policy.
Attend all training as requested, whether in-house or with an external provider.
Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Management.
