An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Business Partner who is looking to move into an organisation and has the opportunity to be part of their 5-year people strategy plan and has the potential to move into the HR Manager role in the future.
This is a perfect role for an HR Professional who wants to be part of a not-for-profit charity, supporting them through a variety of HR activities and even being involved in the trial of a 4-day working week!A hybrid role, reporting to the Head of HR located in North Tyneside, working 3 days on site and 2 days from home.Responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing the HR Policies and Procedures
2. Pilot a 4-day working week
3. Involved in the implementation of a new payroll and HR system
4. Support and advise managers on ER case management from beginning to end on a range of HR matters including disciplinary, grievances, absence management and performance management
5. Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns
6. Advise managers in the planning and implementation of organisational change processes and programmes
7. Support on implementing and developing succession plans across the organisation
8. Involved in job evaluation, benchmarking and pay grading
9. Develop a strong understanding of business operations
10. Act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to managers, providing guidance on HR matters
11. Partner with managers to support talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, talent development and retention strategies
12. Coach and advise managers on performance management best practices
13. Identify training and development needs
14. Oversee and support the efficient and effective delivery of HR operational processes
15. Work with the Head of HR to track and measure performance against HR key performance indicators.
Experience required includes:
16. Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law
17. Experience working in an HR function within an Advisory role previously
18. CIPD Level 5 qualified
19. Experience with HR & Payroll systems
