Consultant – Hybrid Bath, South West – Up to £55,000 This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced analytical and cost estimation techniques within a consultancy supporting defence and civil sectors. Working across multi-disciplinary teams, you will contribute directly to the development and delivery of complex projects ranging from one month to one year in duration.a Role Responsibilities Analyse and interpret detailed research technology scopes to support decision-making Develop and refine cost estimation models using recognised MoD frameworks Create and implement advanced analysis tools and techniques to enhance project outcomes Provide reliable advice and support to clients across military and civil customer sites predominantly within the Southwest Plan, manage and deliver contract requirements with an emphasis on accuracy, timeliness and client satisfaction Support data identification, collection, normalisation and presentation for reporting and strategic insight Generate lifecycle cost, schedule and risk estimates for future acquisitions incorporating whole life costingTechnical Skills and Experience Proven experience within defence research, logistics, maritime or manufacturing environments Familiarity with MoD cost estimation policies and procedures, including portfolio and programme management techniques Strong knowledge of project controls principles, including scheduling, work breakdown structures, risk management and budgeting Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel modelling, including creation of complex cost and analytical models Ability to generate detailed analytical reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Experience in presenting complex data and cost models clearly to stakeholders at varying levelsAdditional Requirements Applicants must hold British citizenship due to client site security restrictionsThis is a permanent role with a salary of up to £55,000 and hybrid working arrangements within the Southwest.
