Clinical Governance Administrator role at West London NHS Trust.
The Clinical Governance Team provide assurance of high-quality care to the Trust Board and support clinical services to achieve that assurance by leading a culture of clinical excellence to enable delivery of safe, high-quality care to patients that is evidenced by good outcomes and patient feedback.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality, effective, integrated administration support service within the Clinical Governance Team whilst reacting to and implementing change to the service as directed by their line manager.
Responsibilities
 * Work in a supportive capacity to key members of staff within the Clinical Governance Team to assist in the delivery of an effective service.
 * Identify learning points from incident and patient complaint related reporting data, both internally and externally, to support the Local Service clinical service lines (ECP/HCH).
 * Support the preparation of related reports as required, as part of the Quality and Board assurance process.
 * Resolve problems relating to incident and complaint reporting and data collection quality issues, and escalate concerns to the line manager when appropriate.
 * Independently produce weekly and monthly incident reports from Datix or other reporting systems, as requested.
 * Maintain the Local Services (ECP/HCH) incident databases, ensuring information is up-to-date and valid.
 * Attend incident related meetings as agreed with the Line Manager; take minutes, produce action logs and prepare meeting papers.
 * Attend internal incident or patient complaint related meetings and take minutes, produce action logs and prepare meeting papers.
 * Provide verbal and written advice and information to staff requiring assistance with regards to the reporting of incidents.
