Job Title: Toolmaker
Salary:£36,000 £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + premiums for First Aid, Fire Marshal & HACCP L2 certifications
Hours:Full-Time, 40 hours per week (flexibility & overtime required)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experiencedToolmakerto join our tooling department. This is a hands-on role where you will design, manufacture, and maintain precision thermoforming tools and moulds that are vital to our production processes.
The role requires strong technical expertise in machining and toolmaking, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and manufacture thermoforming tools and moulds to specification using CAD software and engineering drawings.
2. Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and other toolroom equipment.
3. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on existing tools, ensuring performance and longevity.
4. Work closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues.
5. Conduct quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
