We are currently recruiting an Admin Officer for our client based in Carrickfergus. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the First Contact Team the person will work as part of a multifunctional administrative team which provides both back of office and front office support in a local Jobs and Benefit Office. As the first point of contact for UC claimants they will be responsible for assisting claimants who need to conduct their business face to face or via telephone.
The role is customer facing and deals with queries on the phone and at a public counter. Their duties will include claimant orientation, resolving queries, arranging appointments, undertaking interviews, assisting customers in the Digi Zone, where appropriate, input new data and change of circumstances updates. There are also post duties, phone queries, reception cover and other reasonable duties as required by line management.
Please note you will be required to attend mandatory training with no leave permitted during the training and consolidation period.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
1. 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
2. Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
3. Excellent communication skills.
