Our client is known for delivering high-quality metalwork solutions to a range of industries and is now seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Youll be responsible for inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes, while working closely with both customers and suppliers to maintain excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
2. Use a range of measuring equipment including Vernier callipers, protractors, height gauges, and CMM/measuring arms.
3. Read, interpret, and work from technical/engineering drawings.
4. Produce and maintain PPAP documentation (control plans, PFMEAs, first article inspection reports, etc.).
5. Conduct internal quality audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
6. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality matters.
