Senior Planning Officer (Development Management)
Permanent, Full-time 37 hours per week, Grade 7 (SCP 25 – 30), Salary: £36,363 – £40,777 per annum.

What will you be doing?
You will manage a varied caseload of predominantly minor schemes, drawing on your enthusiasm and experience with a wide range of applications and projects. Your role includes interpreting permitted development legislation, coordinating with multiple agencies and organisations, and engaging with other departments across the two Councils. You will also support planning enforcement work and participate in leadership decisions that shape the service’s future direction. The team works primarily from home, with the option to use Bromsgrove or Redditch offices.
What do you need to be shortlisted?
* Educated to Degree level or above
* Working towards or achieved Full Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
