This is an exceptional opportunity with Milk Education for graduates looking to begin or further their career in education. As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will work within a dynamic school environment, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
This role offers invaluable, hands-on experience for graduates considering future careers in educational psychology, social work, teaching, or other related fields.
The Role:
As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will:
1. Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them engage with learning and personal development
2. Support students both academically and pastorally within a nurturing and structured environment
3. Work closely alongside class teachers, gaining insight into classroom practice and supporting daily learning
4. Inspire and motivate pupils, helping to improve their overall school experience
5. Have opportunities to work in alternative provision settings, using your degree knowledge and skillset to support diverse learners
This is a highly rewarding role, ideal for graduates who are passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives.
Key Criteria:
6. A university degree (2:2 or above)
7. Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
8. A clear desire to work with and support young people
9. Willingness to undertake CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school
