We are now looking for an experienced and inspiring KS2 teacher to take on the role of Key Stage 2 Phase Leader from September 2025.
Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and capable teacher ready to take on a leadership role. As KS2 Phase Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the learning experience for pupils across Years 3 to 6. You will combine high-quality teaching with strategic leadership of the phase, supporting colleagues, raising standards, and contributing to whole-school development.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach a KS2 class, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*
Lead the KS2 phase, supporting teaching and learning across Years 3–6
*
Line manage and mentor staff within the phase, fostering a culture of high expectations and collaboration
*
Monitor pupil progress and attainment across the phase and lead data analysis and intervention planning
*
Work closely with the senior leadership team to implement school improvement priorities
*
Support curriculum development, staff training, and quality assurance activities
*
Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school community
We Are Looking For:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Substantial experience teaching in Key Stage 2
*
Proven leadership skills or previous experience in a middle leadership role
*
A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment
*
A confident communicator and team player, able to motivate and support colleagues
*
A commitment to inclusion, continuous improvement, and professional development
*
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
