About the role: We are looking to appoint a creative Social Media and Content Officer to ignite our digital presence, and help drive student recruitment at the University through engaging and innovative content. The role will be based in the wider Marketing team who play a critical role in supporting the University’s wider strategic priorities to establish the brand and profile of the University on a regional, national and international basis, whilst enhancing the quality of communications and marketing to our wide range of stakeholders. This role takes day to day lead of our Student Content Creator Scheme, ensuring a pipeline of relevant user-generated content is regularly available for our target audiences. This role comprises daily social media content planning and management of multiple channels as well as the curation of compelling social media creative with a particular focus on video content. About you: The successful candidate will be a results-orientated, all-round team player who is able to form relationships across the University with good commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. You will have significant marketing experience with an emphasis on digital delivery, along with the ability to analyse and report on campaign performance using tools such as Meta Analytics and Google Analytics to ensure data-driven decision making. You must hold an undergraduate degree in relevant subject area or equivalent experiential learning.
