Contract – Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks)
* Up to £50 per hour (Outside IR35)
* 3 months initially
* Immediate start – one-stage interview
We’re recruiting on behalf of a key client who urgently needs a Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer to support their busy R&D team. This is a fast-moving requirement, and if you’re available to start next week, all the better.
Base pay range
Up to £50 per hour (Outside IR35)
What you’ll be doing
* Mechanical design using Solidworks (own licence highly desirable)
* Full product design – from concept through to manufacture
* Sheet metal design and design calculations
What we’re looking for
* Strong Solidworks skills (with your own licence ideally)
* Proven experience in sheet metal and product design
* Confident in design calculations and motor specification requirements
* Able to work onsite in Knutsford
