Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hull
Salary: £55,000
Hours: Monday - Thursday 11.00pm - 7.00am / Friday - 6.00pm - 11.30pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading manufacturing and packaging facility operating across multiple sites in Hull, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their established engineering team.
You'll work across a mix of modern and ageing equipment, using your electrical and mechanical expertise to keep high-speed automated production lines running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. This role suits a proactive, hands-on engineer capable of working to high standards without close supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide effective breakdown response, repairs and maintenance across machinery, equipment, services and site facilities.
2. Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise downtime and improve OEE.
3. Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and create new PPM schedules where needed.
4. Install, commission and support new machinery and equipment.
5. Read, interpret, and update electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
