What You Will Enjoy Doing Purpose The Health & Safety Risk Administrator will play a key role in supporting the Health and Safety team in maintaining and enhancing the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems—specifically through the oversight of site-wide risk assessments. This role is ideally suited to someone with a background in Health & Safety within a manufacturing (FMCG) environment and a passion for promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Tasks & Responsibilities (not Limited To) Oversee and maintain the site's Risk Assessment Register, ensuring it remains accurate and up to date. Support departments across the site in completing and reviewing their own risk assessments, providing guidance and clarification where needed. Coordinate and track the risk assessment review cycle, ensuring assessments are completed within required timelines. Liaise with departmental risk assessors to follow up on outstanding assessments and gather necessary updates or feedback. Assist in identifying gaps or inconsistencies in risk assessments and work with departments to ensure corrective actions are taken. Maintain clear and accurate records of assessment statuses and associated actions using appropriate tracking systems. Promote best practices in risk assessment processes and encourage continuous improvement across all departments. Work collaboratively with the Health & Safety team to ensure risk assessments align with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards. What makes you great Education / Experience IOSH Qualification Worked in manufacturing environment (FMCG, Packaging, Plastics or similar) Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive in approach.
