At Esland, we provide trauma‑informed, therapeutic care for children aged 8 to 18, many of whom have encountered adverse childhood experiences and complex trauma. Our supportive staff help them feel safe, understood, and enable brighter futures.

Compensation: £33,682 – £34,305 / year
Responsibilities
* Support young people with emotional regulation, daily routines, and personal development.
* Keep detailed records and promote safeguarding at all times.
* Assist with fun activities, personal interests, educational access, engagement, and household responsibilities.
* Commit to working 48‑hour shifts, including sleep‑ins (paid), followed by a 4‑day break; the service operates 365 days with structured shifts, paid bank holidays, and overtime opportunities.

*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (days) and £60 per sleep night. Above rate comes into effect from April 2026.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience within care, education, mental health support or youth activities is highly desirable, but transferrable skills and the right personality traits are also valued.
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
