Eden Scott's Accountancy & Finance Division is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded Accountancy Practice in Kirkcaldy in their search for a Payroll Officer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a supportive and reputable firm offering ongoing training and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing across a varied client portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls from start to finish
* Maintain accurate employee records including hours, deductions, and benefits
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory requirements
* Handle payroll queries and liaise with clients professionally
* Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external use
* Support audits and contribute to continuous process improvements
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
* Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
* Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
* A proactive and professional approach to client service
