What is on offer as a Disability Assessor?
* Excellent starting salary at £39,500pa
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
* Full‑time and part‑time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week)
* Castleford based when working on‑site
* 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell 5 more days + pension
* Hybrid/home working available
* NMC or HCPC fees paid and CPD revalidation support provided
What does the Disability Assessor role involve?
The Functional Assessor role will involve carrying out 3 client assessments per day, including telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.

What we look for;
* An NMC registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with 1 year or more broad post‑registration experience
* Someone proactive and keen to learn
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competent IT and computer skills
* Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
