Job Title: Temporary Finance Assistant Location: Welwyn Garden City Hourly Rate: £15.38 – £15.93 per hour Contract: Temporary (until approximately December) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Overview: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis until December. Based in Welwyn Garden City, this role is ideal for someone with a finance background, experience using Sage, and strong Excel skills (intermediate level or above). Key Responsibilities: * Sales ledger administration * Credit control administration * Monthly reconciliation of control accounts * Data integration across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy * Updating the daily cashflow statement * Assisting with the month-end process * Preparing management accounts * Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc finance-related projects Requirements: * Previous experience in a finance support role * Knowledge of Sage accounting software (essential) * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Available for the full duration of the assignment Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Smart10 Recruitment Group, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
