Job Description
Finance and Business Manager
Location: Perth | Salary: £44,960 + 3% pension | Hybrid working available
Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH) is a well-established charity supporting people across Perth & Kinross who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Since its founding in 1990, CATH has grown to deliver a range of impactful services—from supported housing and outreach to adult learning, community hubs, and social enterprise projects—all aimed at helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and inclusion.
We are now seeking a strategically minded and detail-oriented Finance and Business Manager to join our Senior Management Team. This is a key leadership role at a time of organisational review and development.
You’ll lead on all financial operations, ensuring strong governance and accountability to the CEO and Board of Trustees. You’ll also oversee income generation activities, supporting our Fundraising Officer to maximise community and corporate fundraising efforts.
Beyond finance, you’ll manage contracts and services—from IT and payroll to insurance and facilities—ensuring value for money and operational efficiency. You’ll drive improvements across systems and processes, helping streamline support for our frontline services.
We’re looking for someone with solid charity finance experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the local community. If you’re ready to lead with purpose and help shape the future of a respected local charity, we’d love to hear from you.
