Intervention Support Worker – Secondary School

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Term Time Only
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential?
We are seeking a compassionate, proactive and resilient Intervention Support Worker to join a successful secondary school in Milton Keynes from September 2026.
This rewarding role will involve working within a dedicated Intervention Centre, supporting students who may be disengaged from learning or experiencing difficulties accessing the mainstream curriculum. Through targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions, you will help students rebuild confidence, develop positive learning behaviours and successfully reintegrate into lessons.
Working closely with pastoral, SEND and teaching colleagues, you will play a key role in providing tailored support that meets the individual needs of students. You will adapt intervention strategies, offer in-class support where required and contribute to creating a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and supported.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
