Maintenance Engineer
Following continued investment in equipment, people, and global operations, our client is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to take the lead on CNC Milling machinery, shaping maintenance practices and delivering measurable performance improvements across sites.
You’ll lead maintenance strategy, optimise machine uptime, and drive efficiency across multiple aerospace manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities
* Act as the technical lead for all Modig supplied CNC Milling machines
* Drive efficiency improvements, focusing on reducing downtime across sites
* Develop and implement preventative and operator‑led maintenance strategies
* Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical faults, working with internal teams and external suppliers
* Identify and manage critical spare parts and inventory requirements
* Develop maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices
* Mentor and support technicians to improve overall site capability and asset performance
* Travel between UK sites and internationally as required to support operations
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Experience maintaining automated machinery, ideally CNC machinery
* Electrically biased maintenance background
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
* Experience with PLC fault finding
* Willingness to travel across sites and internationally when required
