Hours: 35 per week.

Role purpose
At the heart of our mission is inclusive, high-quality legal education. We deliver Level 6 and Level 7 Apprenticeships, Paralegal programmes, and the CILEX Professional Qualification—offering a broad and rewarding mix of teaching, curriculum development, and learner coaching.
Responsibilities
* Deliver group teaching sessions / Masterclasses at all levels via webinars, ensuring learning and practical application of workplace skills
* Provide study support and advise students on educational matters relating to successful completion of their programme
* Monitor student engagement and take responsibility for their progress
* Identify additional learning support needs with the Learning Support Manager; implement adjustments and monitor attendance and engagement
* Provide academic support by conference call, email or online forum
* Deliver revision sessions by webinar
* Produce quality recorded materials, student study materials, handbooks and guides
* Provide feedback on the student experience and contribute to the CILEX Law School quality improvement plan
* Participate in staff development and knowledge sharing; stay updated on developments in subject specialisms
* Liaise with the Business Development Team to identify progression/recruitment opportunities
* Promote our ED&I agenda
* Facilitate a safeguarding and wellbeing culture in interactions with staff and learners
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with credible practice experience and, ideally, prior teaching/training or assessment experience. You will also be:
* Passionate about helping learners build skills to succeed and able to inspire and motivate
* An effective communicator who listens well and responds to stakeholder needs
* Able to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Skilled at providing feedback with tact and diplomacy
* Proactive and highly organized, able to manage multiple demands
* Committed to promoting welfare of learners
* Eager to develop teaching and course design capabilities
Required/Desirable areas of specialism
