Senior Residential Support Worker – 3-Bed EBD Children’s Home

Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 per week

We’re recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a warm, family-style 3-bed EBD Children’s Home in Radcliffe.
Your Role:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of shifts and providing consistent, therapeutic care to the young people we support. You will:
* Lead and organise shifts, maintaining structure and consistency.
* Support, guide, and mentor a team of Residential Support Workers.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
* Develop and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
* Promote a safe, homely, and positive environment.
* Uphold safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory standards.
* Contribute to team meetings, reflective practice, and ongoing training.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a residential childcare or EBD support worker role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A resilient, positive role model who is passionate about improving young people’s lives.
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (minimum) – Level 4 preferred or willingness to work towards.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care.
