Are you ready to shape the future of manufacturing? At TE Connectivity, our Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams are the heartbeat of innovation—bridging product development with cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. We don’t just keep up with technology—we drive it forward. If you're passionate about hands-on engineering, scaling up technologies, and making a direct impact on real-world production challenges, this role is for you.

As a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies and processes, with a focus on heat shrink tubing and EMI shielding solutions. You’ll be part of a dynamic technical team, owning the development and execution of scalable, cost-effective manufacturing systems from the ground up.

Your main tasks:

* You won’t just support projects—you’ll drive them. Here’s how:
* Champion quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
* Define clear project objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets.
* Analyze product requirements and translate them into optimal manufacturing routes.
* Develop robust CAD tooling designs, process capability studies, and cost/resource estimates.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align equipment capabilities with product design.
* Lead process development for extrusion, expansion, crosslinking, and finishing operations.
* Investigate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and boost production efficiency.
* Write clear, concise standard work instructions and procedures that enable best-in-class operational execution.
* Partner with Lead Engineers and Ops teams to deploy and validate new processes, equipment, and pilot trials.

Your ideal background:

* You're hands-on, technically sharp, and thrive in collaborative environments. Your profile includes:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Experience in manufacturing, automation, process development, and equipment design.
* Skilled in CAD design and familiar with ANSYS simulation tools.
* Solid understanding of extrusion processes, compound mixing, and related tooling.
* Knowledge of control systems and automation technologies is a strong plus.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
* Driven by continuous improvement, curious by nature, and motivated to challenge the status quo.
