Job Description
3. Overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance department
4. Developing and implementing strategic financial plans
5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial goals align with company objectives
6. Ensuring financial compliance and adherence to regulations
7. Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information
8. Supervising, coaching, and developing team members
9. Utilising CCH software for accounting and financial management
10. Participating in critical business decisions as a member of the management team
11. Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently.
12. Lead and mentor a team within the Accounting & Finance department to achieve business objectives.
13. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the Professional Services industry.
14. Prepare and review financial reports and statements for clients.
15. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their main point of contact.
16. Identify opportunities for business growth and provide strategic recommendations.
17. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
18. Monitor and improve internal processes to enhance organisational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Manager should have:
19. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
20. Professional qualification ACA is essential
21. Proficiency in CCH software
22. Excellent leadership and team management skills
23. Strong analytical and decision-making skills
24. Deep understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
25. Excellent communication and presentation skills
26. Strong client management skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
27. Excellent organisational and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
28. Proven expertise in Accounting & Finance within the Professional Services industry.
29. Proficiency in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
30. A proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on business opportunities.
