As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in managing the kitchen operation and ensuring the smooth running of daily services. You will work with a dedicated and experienced team to create innovative menus and maintain our high standards of fresh food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate the junior kitchen staff to ensure high standards of fresh food production and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety regulations, and company policies.
Support stock management, including ordering and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Lead by example, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent knowledge of fresh food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
Passionate about fresh food with a strong understanding of seasonality and high-quality ingredients.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Creative, with an eye for detail and a desire to develop your culinary skills further.
