We are currently recruiting for an Agent to join our microtunnelling works in London
As the Agent you will be required to:
1. Lead the site team supervision, including subcontractors
2. Monitor site activities against the target programmes and site planning
3. Ensure adequate records are maintained complying with the JGL Information Management System, e.g. Quality Assurance documentation, daily diaries and as built drawings
4. Prepare and deliver daily site briefings
5. Monitor all works activities to ensure the they meet the Works Specification and are being delivered in a safe manner
6. Attend site meetings
7. Give formal communications to clients and subcontractors including but not limited to Early Warnings, and instructions
8. Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards
9. Produce site documentation eg RAMS and ITP’s
10. Ensure compliance with ITP’s
11. Work collaboratively with the Client's team
To be successful in this position the Site Agent must have the following:
12. A BSc, MSc, or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering aligned subject
13. The ability to work well within a dynamic, fast-paced team, whilst working autonomously
14. The ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.
15. Previous site experience in delivering projects to programme
16. The ability to manage the installation of works to a high specification / quality
17. The mindset to seek opportunities and problem solve with the design team and supply chain to identify programme and production opportunities
18. Experienced in working with NEC3 contract
19. Experience of working on largescale tunnelling projects, ideally SCL
