About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Porter to join a large residential development in South West London. This is a hands-on role where you will combine general maintenance, repair, and improvement duties with front-of-house support to ensure the smooth running of the property.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, experienced, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. English language proficiency is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, tiling, painting, shower installation, and furniture assembly.
Carry out daily checks to ensure communal areas and facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Assist with porter duties, including supporting residents and visitors as required.
Report and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
Support compliance and safety standards on site, including Health & Safety procedures.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Handyman, Builder, or Caretaker, ideally in residential or hospitality environments.
Skilled in a range of maintenance tasks: painting, tiling, plumbing, furniture assembly, general repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Fluent in English.
Available to start immediately.
