We are looking for a recently qualified graduate with a minimum 2:1 qualification in an RTPI planning related degree to join our Graduate Development Programme starting in October 2025.

Graduate Development Planner Role:
You will be responsible for providing professional advice in support of the Banks Property and Banks Homes business areas. You will help identify and assess the suitability of new prospects; develop the planning approach and strategy for individual and multiple projects; assist in the coordination and preparation of planning applications and environmental statements; secure all appropriate permissions and consents for your projects including, where applicable, discharge of planning conditions; coordinate and develop strategy, monitor and provide inputs on Local Plans, and National policy and guidance. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined project team.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
* A recently qualified graduate with a minimum 2:1 qualification in an RTPI planning related degree.
* An active awareness and interest in property development and the built environment.
* Actively undertaking ongoing professional development.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Masters degree in a planning related discipline (RTPI Accredited).
* Experience of working in a Local Authority or Planning Consultancy.
* A sound knowledge of Planning processes and procedures.
